At CECD, you will find that it is a place where people genuinely belong. It is a place where we "do family." Whether you've gone to church your entire life or this is your first time ever attending any church, we hope this is a place that you can come just you are - completely, totally, and unabashedly. We want you to experience the love of Christ through community - to know and be known.
At CECD, you will hear music during every service as an expression of praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He, alone, is the center of of our worship. Our hope is that each and every person would walk away humbled and in awe of God's grace and love for us.
Rest assured! Children can find a home at CECD as well. Every Sunday, your child will learn about Jesus and His love for them through the Bible, friendly games, and artistic crafts. Thanks to our dedicated volunteer members, you can expect a safe and fun environment for your child every time. Children are welcome to join the beginning part of service before being dismissed together after musical worship.
At CECD, we want God's Word to be life and sustenance for our congregation. Thus, you will find our preaching expository in nature, practical, and challenging in a way that move us to integrate it into our daily lives. But more importantly, you will find that the Gospel message is always at the center of the sermon because it is not our own merit, but rather Jesus' sacrificial love for us that drives us towards repentence and action.
